***BELIEFS***
My life was pretty good when I was young...
I had two parents who were (and still are) married and loved me (and still do) very much,
lived in a fairly nice neighborhood, and had a few close friends. But there was still
somthing missing...
In my 7th grade year I was invited by my friends to go to a youth event called Youth
Explosion held at a local church. I went to the conference, mainly to hang out with my
friends, and ended up changing the course of the rest of my life. It was at this event
that I decided to stop living my life of sin and to start living for Jesus Christ, who
loved me (and will forever) more than I could (and still can) imagine.
After I let Jesus Christ be my focus, I started changing in all areas of my life. Most
noticeably, my personality changed from a quiet, shy, keep-to-myself personality to one
full of the joy of the Lord and taking full advantage of the gifts God had given me.
My life has been changing as I grow older to reflect the example of Jesus Christ more and
more. I am far from perfect right now, and far from knowing everything there is about God
and His ways. But I will "run with perseverance the race marked out for us" (Hebrews 12:1),
with the faith that God will continue to lead me in the right path.
